Julie's photo challenge at Scrapbooking Swede got me thinking....I really need to take some photos of my veggies!
I can't wait to take my SLR out and shoot some corn, pumpkins, apples etc......
So here are a few shotz of veggies from my garden.
This is how I had to transport some of my harvest. I used Carson's little green wagon.
Here are the sunflower heads I harvested. I'm entering one of the larger ones in the Fall Fair this year :).....more on that later.
Here is a bunch of Roma Tomatos. My 16 plants are BURSTING...I have another big harvest coming up! Maybe I'll make some relish :)

The "get scrappy challenge" where you have to use at least 5 different types of printed paper.
And this was a challenge where you had to use white cardstock and no printed paper...this is really not my style....but challenges are meant to get you scrappn' out of your comforts zone ;) at least some of them.

Last weekend we dropped Carson off at Ma & Pa's and headed to Ashcroft to watch the car races with Dean and his girlfriend Debbie(who is also an avid scrapper, so we had lots to talk about..:) ) THANKS Debbie for the photos...I forgot my memory card!
Carson spent the night at Ma & Pa's because it was 11:30pm by the time we got home and it would have been too much for the little guy. So we ended up picking him up on Sunday and we brought Hutch along for the ride too.
Took Hutch over to Brodie's Dad and Paulette's to play in the creek and with Potzie. This was also the first time Carson saw a horse(and Hutch too).
Carson was not to impressed by Farley....on another note Hutch was great!
After the romp in the creek and Carsons sleep over weekend the "duo" were completly pooped out and slept all the way back home. Hutch NEVER even stirred when we had to go back to Ma & Pa's because I FORGOT the battery charger for the digital camera!

We had a nice visit with Brodie's cousin Julie, her daughter Jaylene and Don and Lana a week ago. They really seem to be enjoying their time in Canada, taking in all of the wonderful surroundings visiting family and just enjoying their vacation.

This is the home that my family grew up in at one point in my life. This layout was done for the Book Of Me Forum at Scrapbooking Swede.

This post is dedicated to the WEIRD and UNUSUAL things Carson does and he's not even a year old yet..... Does it get any weirder? I've heard it gets worse...yikes!
1. He has this habit of putting things in his mouth and carting them around, paticularly....SOCKS (their clean of course, but why?) 2. The sound ohhhhhhhh, ohhhhhh, ohhhhhhh and he makes these fishy lips to go with the sound.
3. Blowing raspberries at EVERY chance he can...even when mom is trying to FEED HIM ( not particularly a funny trait, Thanks grandpa!)
4. He crawls like a speed demon and when he's on a roll and making a be-line for the kitchen, he makes sure to stop and see if you are giving chase - then it's a loud giggle and he scurries away very quickly in hopes you don't catch him!
5. Looking under things and making it obvious that I forget to sweep under the sideboard in the kitchen or the coffee table! 6. He is constantly crossing his feet, when he eats, when he sleeps, and even when he's sitting in his carseat.....He also sleeps with his hands behind his head, stretch out relaxing....He sure is one strange child, but he's all ours :)

Would you believe I never used anything from their line? Well it's true and when I saw them at SS I knew I had to try them out!
They're so verstile and the patterns are really easy to work with. The rubons are the best that I've used. You have to give them a try if you haven't.
Well I'm hooked!

Hutch LOVES the water and always enjoys his walks to the wharf! You can often times find him pulling Brodie down the street. He instinctivly knows where he's going and wants to get there as fast as he can. I swear he can smell the water!
It was a nice evening when I shot these photos on the wharf (I really hate shadows! arrgghh). What a nice way to end a hot hectic day than by going for a walk, throwing a little ball, and watching the sunset.
