Anyways.....

This song by Martina Mcbride...Love the lyrics :)

You can spend your whole life building,
Something from nothing
One storm can come and blow it all away,
Build it anyway
You can chase a dream
That seems so out of reach
And you know it might not ever come your way
Dream it anyway

God is great, but sometimes life ain’t good
And when I pray
It doesn’t always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway,
I do it anyway

This world’s gone crazy
And it’s hard to believe
That tomorrow will be better than today
Believe it anyway

You can love someone with all your heart,
For all the right reasons,
And in a moment they can choose to walk away
Love ‘em anyway

You can pour your soul out singing
A song you believe in
That tomorrow they’ll forget you ever sang
Sing it anyway,
Yeah sing it anyway.

Happy Wednesday! Posting photos tonight :D

We're officially "those" parents

After I was trying to get a new flower bed set up, we headed into town to do some grocery shopping and pick up some new greenery for that flower bed.

Anyways we were in the hardware store looking at coffee makers. Carson was playing with a spray bottle and he was starting to get worked up. Well in a matter of seconds he hucked that bottle and hit some poor innocent lady walking down the isle. oh..Then Carson proceeded to scream, head butt, hit me, and scream some more before falling to the floor in a heap.

So.....it was a that point during the screaming, Brodie glaring at me, and everyone else in the aisle staring at us...when a little voice inside my head said "I've become one of them". One of those parents that we used to say "why can't they just control their kid". I take back those words now, and feel sorry for those parents out there that have to endure the meltdowns of their 21 month olds because we are one of you now. :O

A day at the park

It was Saturday and it was also Leah's birthday when we decided to take her and Alex to the wildlife park in Kamloops.

It was tight fit but we managed to get us all into the car :)

Carson wasn't so sure of the moose.

We got to watch the trainers teach a snowy owl to fly to another person. Alex was lucky to have the opportunity to have the owl fly to him.

We finished the day off with a stop a Demilles farm to pick up some vegies and Fruit...and we took a "gander" at the geese..and found Winston :)

A little crazy

Carson attended Cindy's 50th Birthday, he was a little weary of all the people but soon warmed up to everyone in no time.

Carson helping dad put together his new bike, not sure if he's actually helping but he was so excited to get on and start riding!

I snapped some photos while inside Toys R Us, Carson loved the motorized cars....he kept running to the Mustang they had, then wouldn't get off the Ford F150...LOL

Easter was spent this year at Ma & Pa's in Kamloops. Lots of fun coloring eggs as you can see by this very unusual specimen. Looks like a dinosaur egg..huh?

In a rut and other stuff :)

In a rut?

Do you ever find yourself in a “rut”.

You know that just “getting by”, going with the everyday flow, doing the same thing day in day out feeling like one in a herd. Well I think we’re in a rut following the herd , so to speak It got Brodie and I talking it’s time for “a change”. We’re tired of living in the herd and it’s time to break out, but what should we do? What can we do to help us get where we want to go? We had some deep thinking happening this weekend and I think it’s only going to get deeper.

So the topic of new business ventures sprang to mind and a lot of brainstorming was going on. Time will only tell when these thoughts should materialize and one can only dream for everyday to be Saturday.

~~~~ from dreams great things can happen. ~~~~
A write-off?
I should know better than to try to schedule anything into the month of April. This month is ALWAYS insanely busy. I wonder if my little white flag still works, I tend to wave it feverously at times like these. It’s at times like these that I wish I was Samantha from Bewitched and if I twitched my nose it would all go away and by go away I mean the stress of tax time and annoying coworkers…bwahhha hhhhha hhhhaaaaa. However it’s not as busy as the place I worked before, but I didn’t have a 20 month old then.
So back to reality and the day to day normality that is my life. Just a break down
 Working on the new FFC book, and a few layouts to upload *smile*
 Have a bunch of Easter photos to upload
 I’m a 2pea happy mailer, picked up some more goodies to mail out
 Backyard clean up, after “Hurricane Hutch” blew threw
 Picked up some discount perennials and Dahlia bulbs at local nursery, so time to plant.
 Carson needs a chest X-ray
 Trying to find a roto-tiller, we need to get that garden tilled
 New fence in the backyard needs a coat of paint.
 Re-org the craft/spare room
Carson’s situation
If you’ve been reading Carson has been off and on sick for the past couple months. Well it’s been the last couple weeks that he has found himself particularly ill. He has to take 2 inhalers for allergies and looks like he has the onset of asthma. With all these things happening he has caught a virus and is taking antibiotics.
I've got loads of pictures and more stories to tell.....all coming soon :)
